Our Story

Pilgrim's journey started from a small yet infamous city in Eastern Turkey, Malatya. A city rich in history and over thousands of years has become renowned for its apricots, up to 80% of the Turkish apricot production comes from Malatya, giving Malatya the name kayisi diyari "apricot realm".

 

Through the process of sun drying, using natures own ability to produce the richest and juiciest tastes, Pilgrim Healthy

The word Pilgrim itself, means starting one's journey, a personal journey for many including Pilgrim's Founder, Yunus Kigilcim, who was inspired by his own grandfather to be brave and start his own adventure in bringing his family produce to the shores of Australia.

 

Yunus recognised the opportunity to provide nutritious, high quality at affordable prices for all families to enjoy what he himself grew up with. Proud of his family's heritage, Yunus strives for excellence and continues his family legacy of bringing unique products such as purple basil and black sundried mulberries to the Australian market.
